BTG us dedicated to normalizing a child's life, by providing the positive experiences and personal growth needed to meet physical, social, and emotional needs. In addition to the programs Bridge the Gap has developed, the following events are considered crucial to a child's stability and self esteem.

These include:

  • Horse Camp
  • Annual Holiday Toy Run
  • Annual Foster Parent Picnic
  • Annual Foster Parent Holiday Party
  • Mervyn's ChildSpree
  • Back-to-school Haircuts
  • Community Partnerships (Sleep County, YMCA, Kiggins, Portland Ballet, etc.)

FUNDRASING

    Bridge the Gap must rely on the support and generosity of the community to accomplish their mission. The Annual BTG Golf Tournament is the main fundraiser at this time. Raising $50,000.00 this past year, was indicative of the generous community support to our program.

Bridge the Gap has also been the recipient of several local grants.
