Bridge the Gap is a community outreach program designed to enrich the lives of abused and neglected children in Clark County. To do this, Bridge the Gap provides resources to enhance the stability, growth and success of children in foster and adoptive care. Our vision is to "give every child a childhood".
In 2005:
  • 7156 referrals of abuse and neglect were received by DCFS
  • 550 children were placed into foster care in Clark County
  • BTG served 413 children, 100% increase from 2004
  • BTG provided new clothing for 170 children
  • BTG provided Holiday gifts for over 200 children
  • BTG received $50,000.00 in community donations
  • BTG received $10,000.00 of in-kind donations
